Cardinal Construction served as the General Construction Prime Contractor on Waverly Health Center’s extensive renovation and addition project. After careful consideration, the project was divided into multiple phases which allowed for other areas of the hospital to remain functioning. Site cleanliness and infection control was of the utmost importance.
Phase 1 consisted of renovating the existing pharmacy and endoscope processing area to provide new ceilings, paint, flooring, and casework.
Phase 2 consisted of constructing an addition to the existing hospital while continuing to renovate the existing structure. This phase included the emergency response area as well as clinic and administrative space.
Phase 3 consisted of renovating the existing hospital which is adjacent to the hospital’s operations. Cardinal Construction self performed steel work, casework, specialties and toilet accessories.
