June 1, 2018 – Members of the Cardinal team attended a groundbreaking ceremony today for the Otto Schoitz Teen and Educational Center, owned and operated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cedar Valley. This event marked an exciting milestone for the capital campaign funded project, and key volunteers, community leaders and Club partners were all in attendance to show their support.
The approximately 10,000 sq. ft. facility will provide Cedar Valley teens with a safe environment to study and prepare for tests, socialize with friends, develop post-graduation plans and encourage healthy decision making.
Cardinal is serving as Construction Manager for this project. Other key team members include INVISION Architecture, providing architecture and interior design; Young Plumbing & Heating, as the mechanical design-builder; and Community Electric, providing electrical design-build services. The remaining subcontractors will be selected through a competitive bidding process. For more information on bidding, please contact our estimating department.
