After graduating from UNI in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Michael moved to Kentucky to work for several non-profits that focused on home repair. He eventually worked for a general contractor where he started to learn the ins and outs of managing complex commercial projects.
In late 2020, he decided to move back to Cedar Falls and obtain his 2nd bachelor’s degree from UNI – this time in Construction Management. After graduation in the Spring of 2023, he joined Cardinal Construction’s team full-time. Michael likes that Cardinal has long-time employees that are willing to teach and share what they know to people that are newer to the construction industry.
Michael spends his free time working on his house, visiting family, reading, or taking an occasional nap.
